I was born in 1975 in Banovce nad Bebravou (Slovakia), where I spent my youth and my students’ years. After having graduated with a Masters degree on the Faculty Of Arts UKF in Nitra, I worked as a teacher for a while.
Later I moved to Spain (to Canary islands) where I played for a couple of years in various places as an instrumental solo guitar player. I played together with my friend and very fine and talented musician Martin Tesak alias Maok in duett "Los Martinos" for a year.
In the year 2008 I turned back to my homeland but I am still available to go almost anywhere to make a pleasant atmosphere for you with my loved instrument.Should anybody be interested, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will provide you more informations about the booking possibilities. INFORMATION (for my new visitors):
- for the TABs DOWNLOAD go to the soYmartino's Webshop section of my website. All you will need to do is to register and open your webshop account (registration is free). All the TABs I offer are in the PDF format and you can easily print them once having downloaded (those who choose the payment method Paypal or Credit/Debit card (PayMuzo) will be able to download it in a few moments).
- soYmartino´s CD or DVD GUITAR SCHOOL can be found in the webshop area under the MULTIMEDIA category.
- for joining the GUITAR SCHOOL, with the instructional videos about how to play soYmartino´s arrangements, YOU´LL HAVE TO REGISTER FIRST AT THE "GUITAR SCHOOL REGISTRATION PAGE" (follow left sidebar menu GUITAR SCHOOL") and become a MEMBER
- for purchasing SOYMARTINO´s GUITAR STRINGS (steel or nylon strings - which are made for him in Czech Republic) go to the WEBSHOP area as well.

- at the beginning of March 2010 the total views of soYmartino´s videos on youtube reached 3 millions :-) Thank you all!!!
- new TAB collection Vol.13 released, available from 3rd of november 2009
- On 24th of June 2009 soYmartino reached total of 2.000.000 views on his youtube channel :)

- soYmartino has yet recorded and released the first part of the DVD guitar school serie which you can order online from this website. This first DVD contains about one hour of lessons, an interview with a hand made guitar maker Martin Klema, a bonus instructional video about how to play soYmartino´s fingerstyle arrangement of the famous evergreen „Autumn leaves“ originally written by Joseph Kosma.
- more instructional videos can be found in the member area (Guitar school). Instructional videos in the member area are all played in a slow tempo so you can follow it easily. The are two different videos capturing details of both, the right and the left hand technique for more difficult arrangements.
- new videos are being added into member area regulary.
- for those who did not join my member section yet I prepared some videos and audio in the Music section of the website.
